CITY GROUPS
City Groups are where we practice living the way of Jesus, as a family, in our city.
Everyone is looking for a people and a place to belong to. It’s in the context of community that we understand who we are, the gifting we’ve been given, our impact on others, and how to live on mission together in our city.
CITY GROUP PRIORITIES
City Groups meet on different days/times during the week. We encourage each group to follow a weekly rhythm that looks something like this:
WEEK 1: DINNER PARTY
WEEK 2: WOMEN GATHER
WEEK 3: ENTIRE CITY GROUP
WEEK 4: MEN GATHER
On months with a 5th Sunday, we encourage each group to be physically present in their community.
If you are new, we invite you to check out a City Group on their Dinner Party week!

We see in Revelation that people from every tribe, language, and nation are part of God’s family. We want God’s Kingdom to come in the cities we live in. For this to happen, we must embrace this vision within the groups we lead. We long for our city groups to be places where social, ethnic, economic, and generational barriers are broken down in the context of community.

Where we live matters. God has placed us in our cities to be a light of the Gospel; the very hands and feet of Jesus. City Groups are located all over Farmington Hills and the surrounding cities. We encourage people to join a City Group in one of the areas closest to them.

It’s more important that we put into practice what we are learning together than acquiring more knowledge about God and the Bible. Focusing on the weekly sermons from the Sunday gathering helps our church grow together and move in the practices of Be, Become, Do.

How we spend our time shapes who we become. City Groups are where we become like Jesus. Our City Groups meet weekly in homes to eat, pray, study, and be on mission together.
